FreeCampus

About

We are building a shared campus for the internet—open to anyone, shaped by everyone, and committed to learning that lasts.

Education is a public good

FreeCampus began with a simple conviction: access to excellent learning materials should not depend on where you live, what you earn, or whether you belong to an institution.

We bring together learners, educators, subject experts, editors, designers, and developers to create thoughtful materials across disciplines. The work is open, so every lesson can be examined, discussed, adapted, translated, and made better.

Our principles

01

Open by default

Materials should be available without fees, artificial scarcity, or hidden conditions.

02

Rigorous and humane

We value accuracy and depth, expressed with clarity and respect for the learner.

03

Built together

Many perspectives make stronger resources. Constructive review is part of authorship.

04

Always improving

An open course is never finished. It evolves as knowledge and its community grow.

A campus without gates

There are no admissions forms here. No prescribed pace. You are welcome whether you are meeting a subject for the first time, returning after years away, or helping someone else understand it more deeply.
